Examples include ingested items include rocks, toys, and various household objects, which may lead to gastrointestinal blockage or discomfort. 2. Lacerations: Small cuts or injuries that may require stitches or antibiotics. 3.Bite Wounds: Punctures or bruising from bites from other animals, which can also be at risk for infection. 4. Broken Bones: Fractures or breaks, often from falls or accidents.

2Accident & Injury Coverage – Covered at 70% – $500 per incident

To help make insurance premiums affordable for all pet parents, there are some exclusions- as with every pet insurance company. The following are not covered under any Pin Paws Pet Care policy:

  • Pre-existing conditions*
  • Microchipping
  • Breeding or conditions related to breeding
  • Obedience training
  • Grooming costs and routine nail trims
  • Non-prescription food
  • Organ transplant

  • Illness or injury that arises out of racing, coursing, commercial guarding, law enforcement, or organized fighting of your pet

  • Health/travel certificates
  • Elective surgeries

  • Cosmetic or aesthetic procedures

*Pet insurance companies typically don’t fully cover pre-existing conditions, which are generally illnesses, injuries, or symptoms that occurred prior to the coverage date and/or any applicable waiting period.
